To use these CATAN expansions, simply add them to your existing CATAN 3D Edition game. For the Seafarers expansion, place the new island tiles around the main Catan board. For the Cities & Knights expansion, add the city upgrade pieces and the barbarian attack tokens. When it's time to defend Catan, work with other players to use your combined forces. As for maintenance, keep the tiles and pieces in a dry place. Avoid exposing them to direct sunlight for long periods as it might fade the hand - painted colors. If they get dirty, you can gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth.
