To use this CATAN: Seafarers expansion, simply add it to your existing Catan game. The shipping lanes work just like roads, allowing you to connect different parts of the water - based map. The water hexes add a new dimension to the game, and you can try out the new water - heavy variant setups. When setting up, make sure to place the water hexes and shipping lanes neatly on the game board. After each game, keep all the pieces in a safe place, away from moisture and direct sunlight to prevent any damage.
