Commands & Colors: Medieval is built upon the Commands & Colors game system. It's not overly complicated by design. This medieval - themed game brings numerous fresh game concepts to the Commands & Colors system, adding historical depth and charm. Some of these new concepts include having superior armor and status during battles. Cavalry units are expanded to 4 blocks. The number of heavy infantry battle dice is reduced from 5 to 4. Light Bow Cavalry units can use the Parthian Shot when they evade.

To play Commands & Colors: Medieval, first set up the game board according to the instructions. Each side then arranges their units, like cavalry and infantry, on the board. When it's your turn, you can move your units and engage in battles. Remember, cavalry units have 4 blocks and heavy infantry now roll 4 battle - dice instead of 5. Light Bow Cavalry can use the Parthian Shot when they back off. As for maintenance, keep the game components in a dry place to prevent warping or damage. After each play, neatly put all the pieces back in the box to avoid losing them. Have fun playing and enjoy the historical depth this game offers!
