Commands & Colors: Napoleonics Expansion 6: Epic Napoleonics (2nd Printing)

EPIC Napoleonics is the sixth expansion for GMT's Commands & Colors Napoleonics board - game system. This exciting expansion enables players to engage in larger - scale battles with more units. In fact, it combines two game systems in one: the Epic Battles system and the La Grande Battles system. While the scale of the Napoleonic game has increased, the historical charm and basic gameplay rules largely remain unchanged. To fully enjoy these two new Napoleonic game formats, it's recommended to use the Command card and Tactician card decks from the Generals, Marshals and Tacticians expansion. This expansion comes with six standard - sized scenarios centered around crucial phases of the Battle of Austerlitz on December 2, 1805. There are also 12 EPIC - sized engagements and two La Grande Battle scenarios. Two double - sided mounted maps are included. The EPIC - sided battlefield is significantly larger, measuring 11 hexes deep by 20 hexes wide, almost double the size of the standard 9 - hex - deep by 13 - hex - wide battlefield. When the maps are placed side - by - side to form the La Grande battlefield, the battle area becomes an enormous 11 hexes deep by 26 hexes wide. Suitable for 2 - 8 players aged 14 and above, each battle takes about 1 hour to play.

To use this EPIC Napoleonics expansion, first, gather 2 - 8 players who are at least 14 years old.
